Wherever TLP has been impenetrable, you have been lucid. Thank you for writing

I think this internal mass alteration in men can be observed in proportion as their view and practice of justice realigned, wherein criminals are forced to thievery or murder through the compulsion of economic circumstance etc, which are all projections of the same internal desire to be fated peoples in general, as you pointed out. The entire historical view of the negro race, for example, is one of the *compelled race*, which is partly why they are sanctified; or rather that by their being propagated as such, their sanctification can be justified to a people desirous of passivity above all. A lovely article patiently written, a pleasure to read YW, thank you.

Sorry to triple comment and to self promote, but re-reading The Monk with this article in mind is elating to say the least. As always we're on the same wavelength, will act/write soon

Instead of passively being a slave to my job, I should either quit it for one where I take a more active role, or make it serve me... they will never recognize my contributions for what they're worth, they're hardly even paying attention, and I am squandering my potential for naive idiots.

It's so easy to comfortably stay where I'm at and just complain about it though... I could keep at this for a very long time but I would end up like Vanya...

Thanks for this.
